This is for quadshop, or anyone else who wants to answer. Do yall revalve shocks with Race Tech or something else? Just curious if Race Tech was the only valve kit, or if there is something better out there. My local shop uses Race Tech, just wondering what you guys/gals thought. Thanks

in my shop i install race tech kits as well as just doing different valving with stock pistons in the rear shock. i have also installed several zero preload setups from elka which does a dual rate spring setup and different shimming on the stock piston. either way you go they both ride really well. Right now on my 250R i have done my own custom valving with a race tech piston and installed elka dual rate springs. i can't complain right now, it rides great.

We do mainly Elka's valving but we have also used Race Tech Gold Valves and some custom valving with shims too.

Is the race tech gold series a good re-valve? How does it rate with other companies?

the race tech is a new piston and re-valve in the shock, they ride pretty well. there pretty good shocks.

Ya, their a big improvement over stock but not as good as an aftermarket shock
