1987 250R with BRAND NEW ESR 330 motor. This quad has been ridden about 8 hrs since being totally
dissassembled, powedercoated and tightened up with all new bearings, seals and bushings.
The only thing that is not new on this quad is the frame, shocks and brake master cylinders. The complete motor
was sent to ESR, dissassembled, inspected and re-assembled with ESR's 330 big bore kit.
The cases were machined for the oversize piston but you can still go back to a stock cylinder
and piston if you wish at a later time. All bearings gaskets and seals were replaced with new.
The new top end has about 8 hrs of riding time on it.
I do not race it so the time spent on the quad has been trails and pit riding. As i said,
all of these parts were purchased new for re-assembly. This is a list of the modifications to the quad.
ESR 330 motor
BIllet ESR head
ESR 2001 CR 250 reed cage and reeds
Keihin (Duncan Racing) 36mm carb flow bored to a 37mm
New Curtis Sparks chrome Mx pipe and silencer
Billet exhaust flange
New water pump main seal.
This motor is tight and pulls extremely hard.
ESR States over 60 hp with this setup
The frame is stock and has been gusseted in the usual places for support
It is powdercoated Tangelo lite so you will definately have one of the more
unique R's around !
New Laeger +2 arms with new bushings and ball joints
PEP triple rates valved at about 175-200lb
Works ultra cross rear shock valved the same
New AC propegs
New AC front and rear bumper and grab bar
New AC full chassis skid plate
New AC skid plate
New Tag t-2 double high cr bend bars
New RTC levers
New Rath Racing +1 anti-vibe chrome stem
New steering stem bearing
New tie rod ends
New Stainless lines front and rear
New rotors with pads
New RPM Dominator Axle
New Rpm Anti Fade brake hub
New sprockets with new DID X ring Chain
New Billet Axle carrier with new double row bearings
New Swingarm bearings and pivot bolt (pivot works)
