well i got my frame welded up today.... that was the last step. then i bolted everything back on... i must say, all the work was worth it. it still needs some cleaning up and im going to repaint the fenders here when it gets warm out. also it is going to go all black/blue... heck with yellow. this what i did:

milled the head .035
put on a new seat cover (looks carbon fiber)
bought an fmf fatty pipe and pcII silencer (rejet of course)
fixed nerfs and footpegs (nerf snapped and footpeg bolt holes stripped)
painted bumper and grab bar black
spent hours cleaning the frame (which has years of oil and dirt on it.... still not clean i hate when people keep things dirty.....)
honed up head/polished it
cleaned up the exhaust port a little
beadblasted head
cleaned/polished crown of piston
tons of little stuff... and like usual along the way had to custom make/modify things to make it all work.

taken apart (mostly the farthest i broke it down... did a little more and took the a-arms off)

got the pipe and put it on (couldnt mount the silencer due to frame issues)

so you may ask... hows the power different? well before i had the stock pipe with aktive reeds, uni, and a custom air lid with holes. and let me tell you.... this is not the same quad. WAY more power. i absolutly love it and i cant wait to take it on some dirt! the powerband seems perfect, spread out, and just nice. the power comes strong in low but it keeps coming the in mid-high rpm ranges. imo milling the head was the best idea, it helps starting and gives that nice power on the bottom end.
