Call Terry at Marcum's ATV. He will get you a great deal.

t300exb, if you have a 300ex, I don't think the 416 kit from Marcums will work for you...... I know it will work for them 400exs out there though. Note: It is also recommended to get a cam with the 416 kit.

Good luck with either the 300ex or 400ex.

Its located in lancaster ohio http://www.profabatv.com/ check that out he did a great job on mine and he accually did it for what he said he would ($), aroound 1000 dollars with a port and polish, and an xr400 cam. Check out the site he will hook ya up.

I would get the Marcum`s 416 Kit then. It runs about $300. You could also look at TC, Sparks, and others for 416 Kits. They will cost more though.

What is the advantage of going to a 416 over just getting a stock sized piston with higher compression?

usally, wen u get a 416, 425, blah, u get it higher compression anyway

Do you have to bore or is it just a sleeve change?

Thats just a bore but if you wanna go any bigger your should resleeve.

With the 416 Piston you just Bore your Stock Sleeve. The Biggest you can go on a Stock Sleeve is a 425, 426. A lot of Guys say that makes the Stock Sleeve very thin. When you go to a 440 you have to ReSleeve. I would go with the 416.
