Hey you said that you have 250X with a 250R rear end? Is that axle, swingarm and shock. If so did you use the 250R shock and linkage? Did everything bolt on good? Hows it ride? I just installed my 250R swingarm on my 300EX. But I used the 300EX shock in a 300 mounting location (measurements) and it is way to soft for me. I am trying to decide on 250R shock set-up or aftermarket 300EX shock for this set-up. Let me know soon!!!!

Hi yes everything seems to be bolted on good I bought the quad like this . It is a aftermarket 250r swingarm Its +5 of the stock 300ex swingarm it doesnt wheelie much at all . the suspension seems fine though but i havent jumped it. but it seems alright.
I am looking to trade for some stock parts if you want to trade, Or I am looking for aftermarket front suspension. Email me at Bigdog6718@aol.com .

But does it appear to have the stock 250R shock along with the linkage? I might be interested in trading for my stock 300EX rear, which is in good shape. I only wanted a longer swingarm on mine.

Yes it does have a 250r linkage , I will be willing to trade is the whole reared stock do you have anything else to trade becase , It is a aftermarket swingarm , I will list the parts that it on it -
West coast 250r swingarm, 250r axle 250r shock and linkage , 250r hubs 250r rotor and looks like it is a after market caliper because it has 2 pistons. Also 250r Bearing carrier dont know if it is stcok or not ? All bearings seem to be in great shape . There is also the 250r sproket hub. I think there is even a 250r Sprocket .
Thanks
Kris

No I don't have anything elso to trade. You could keep the rear sproket as it will fit the 300ex hub. The only other thing that I don't have is the axle lock nut, but is easily found. Let me know if we can work something out.

I have the complete 300EX swingarm setup which includes swingarm, axle, hubs, bearing carrier, brake caliper & mount, sprocket hub, brake line, parking brake cable, brake rotor, DG aluminum skidplate, stock skidplate. The only thing not included is the axle lock nut which is easily found. The only other parts that I have are the stock 300ex protectors that bolt on to the footpegs.

you guys should look into a raptor rear shock. it's a no limk shock and it should be stiffer and if it's not it's rebuildable. i don't think the 250r and linkage will work cause there no where to bolt the bottom of the linkage to the frame. i'd put the 300 up on s tand or jack and get it where i would want it to sit (hight wise)and measure from the top shock mount to the swingarm mount and look for a shock around that length.
