Which pipe for 440EX ?

Is yours rusted? How old is it? I'm in the process of returning mine b/c it's rusted! This is my 3rd pipe! I love the power, I'm just getting tired of sending pipes back b/c of rust. I would like to try something different.

sham, is yours rusting on the head pipe or silencer?

just wondering because i am running the stainless steel x-6 without any problems. i thought i was told that sparks is now using a different coating or better quality coating on their ceramic pipes, but i am not sure. i still went with the stainless.

The headpipe. The silencer is aluminum so no chance of rust there. I wish Ida got da stainless!:(

ditto, i just got mine today, and a few friends I know are running them, they are sick exhausts! Stick with the stainless steel.

Out of the 2, which do you like better, the 39 or the 41 FCR? Is your 440 alot faster than your 426 if at all? I know someone that claims he has a stock bore 400ex w/ 10.8:1, cam, port ,pipe but his is faster than my buddy's Sparks 416 national and runs neck to neck with my 440! WTF?? I think he's full of horse $hit!!

try switching riders and see who wins....rider can make a big difference, I use to be able to beat my friend when he rode my ex and I rode his blaster :eek2: (I'm just talkin about drag racing)

as for the 41/39mm difference...I havent been able to see, I'm still waiting on my frame to get back from pappy...but IMO the 440 will have no probs whoppin up on the 426

my friends Curtis Sparks Exhaust has done that 2 but i like that pipe i sounds good..........But Go with The Carbon Fiber Yoshi.....
