Weel i have never ran a no link setup but i have talked with guys like keith little and his brother greg little and they at one time told me that a no link setup feels better on say big jumps and free style and stuff like that, but it feels like it likes to bounce a little more on the small braking bumps and such. The linkage works better for small stuff and like whoops. thats the reason why most pro's run the cr500 link setup b/c the linkage ratio is great for small bumps and handles big jumps really well. that is just what i have heard.
