I was looking to buy some a-arms and shocks for my YFZ and was wondering a good combination that would be under 2000 bucks. I was thinking maybe some LT TCS shocks on some Lone Star or Leager A-ARMS. What is your opinion on TCS shocks and what is your opinions on the best A-ARMS?

Arens has new LT arms out for the YFZ. I believe they retail for around $600. With the TCS fronts you could have a setup for $1,500 or less with the Arens.

Well for TCS I would give C&D a call. There is no known pictures of the Arens YFZ arms yet, but should be soon. You could give John a call for some info though.

PEP/LSR is also a good combo. Call up Rudy @ DFR at 480-664-9860 for a good deal on anything you need for your YFZ.

I've talked to Bob from Magnolia tractor and he doesn't like the YFZ LSR DC-4 a-arms either. He ordered a set for his own YFZ, then 4 more sets for customers and he told me each set came in different. LSR would use welds in different areas, or plates instead of tubes in others. Personally, I would go with a Viper/TCS setup.

Just thought I'd shed a little light on the axis/pep battle. This is coming from a pro who has ridden on both, and sells both. He says he'd rather use AXIS because they are overall a better built shock, but the PEP shocks perform much better, so he uses those on the race bikes he builds, and had them on his personal bikes.
