Canadian 450r price?

Does anyone know the cdn price for the 450r? My bud is the powersports mgr at the local honda dealership and he keeps asking his rep but can't seem to get an answer.:mad: It would be nice to know what msrp is for it so i can figure out what kind of deal i will be getting.:rolleyes:

I bought my 400 in Canada in 99' when the exchange rate was good. I doubt there will be any deals with the dollar being at an all time low. Just a thought. The only thing I can think of where you'll save some money is when you get the tax back after sending the form in from the duty free store. I would however still like to know the price just to see if I'm wrong or not. :cool:

By the way if the bike is $9100 Canadian it will end up costing you $7,152.96 US at today's rate!! Not such a deal!:cool:

Well a new YFZ 450 is running at 9799 as MSRP and they say the TRX450r is gunna be cheaper by a couple hundred ... so Id go with the 8900 to 9100 range . Your US dollar is taking an *** beating , but its good for our Canadian dollar.

the exchange rate thing sucks for companies that export a lot to the states, like our company that does a lot of business in the states is really feeling it. Since the rate is so high not a lot of people are buying from us.

9100 better be the otd price becuase i can get yfz 450 for 9400 otd...

The numb nutz told me $9600.00 today at the honda dealership. But I'm going to check back with one of my buddies tommorrow. I still gonna try and get it for $9000.00 or else there will be a new yamaha in my garage.

ya that is the same price as the yfz450 pretty much, with taxes and what not it will be 9 000 or more...

I went back to the dealer today and talked to my buddy, he told me that the MSRP for the 450R is $9500, but he might be able to give me one for about $8500.00!

A dealer here do the 450R at 8800$ and the YFZ run at about 9100$

I think the price of the 450R will go down to about 8600$ when there will be many of them in the dealer and when the fury will stop, the dealer will be forced to do better price if they want to sell some :rolleyes:

mee I thought of geting one but i think that I'll just get a nother EX for now mabey next year:(

and my dealer here in town said for a '03 400EX he would sell it for $6,000 witch ant bad but I'm just gunna get a used 400 and modd it with some stuff. Cought..Cought..416..on..Nitrous..Cough..Cough!:D

Do a 440! My opinion is a 416 is a waste of time. I had my 99 440EX for 3years, it was professionally done by an awesome shop here in edmonton. I never ever had a problem with the motor, and it was fast. The only reason I got rid of it is cause I cracked the frame, and didn't want to loose any more money on it.
