Here it is. It looks pretty good to me. The hose clamps though are to small to fit over a powerbong header pipe. Looks like I'll be going out at lunch to get the next bigger size.

They sell them. They have one for the 300ex, and they also have a universal one.

On my website I have a company that makes them with out using clamps. Its on www.mitymocross.com then click on custom drag parts. I also have some cool aftermarket stuff for the 250r and 400ex. Mo;)

Bigger SST hose clamps have been purchased.

The powerbong header pipe must have much bigger pipes than most aftermarket headers. This heat shield was made for aftermarket head pipes. The hose clamps they sent me were way too small.

This makes me understand how good this powerbong head pipe really is. Those big ***** pipes really cool down that hot smoke from the combusted gas air mixture as it's being exhaled. It really gives you extra torque all through the powerband. It's a good investment to go with a muffler.

I'll post some installed pics tomorrow.

make sure it is in jpg format. bitmap files are huge even if it is a little picture. maybe you already know this but that was my first thought

I got the same exhaust heat shield a little while ago from JL. I think it looks good and better yet it keeps my riding gear free of those unwanted burn holes............JIM

Looks retarded....:D Nah just pokin fun,,,hey if it keeps ya from burnin yourself that's all that matters,,it most defintily will get the job done,,that things huge.

I'd rather be lookin' at the bong part of the powerbong header, but I didnt like how it started to put a hole in my Moose all weather riding pants. :blah
