I measured the bolt pattern for the front and rear rims for the 450r and it's the same as the 400ex. Looks like we can all start the rim and tire order before the release.

:)

Ya I guess I just took it as a given that they would be the same. Thanks for the info to confirm it. I would have been pissed if I ordered my new paddles and my wheels wouldn't fit! Thanks!:D

oh on that notion, i should have just gone ahead and spent $1000 and pre-ordered a full set of tires and rims on that assumption that HONDA would not change anyhing in their new design because they havn't changed anything since 86'

:huh

Why would they change the bolt pattern after 18 years of using the same one?

i don't question that logic- that makes sense. It's just spending $1000 for a full set of rims and tires shipped to my home is tough to return ship and tough to pull from the wallet if the pattern has changed, ya know? Of coarse, I'm just trying to provide factual 450r info to the readers and not just assuming the info,..

That's kinda what I was thinking Donny. Yamaha made that mistake for a couple of years on the banshees. I have no idea what they were thinking.

Man $1000 on a set of tires and wheels is a LOT. You buying gold plated wheels and some custom 1 off tires or something?
