what is the deal with the stock 38mm on a 400

looking to get my carb bored to a 38mm by rocky ridge. what is there web address?

did anyone ever figure out if the 04' model does have a 38mm?

I did a search and could not find anything.

if I go with the rocky ridge i will be able to tell if it made a diff. all my motorwork is already done.

the honda website, honda.com , find the 400ex and then click specifications, it shows that the 04 model does have the 38. although all my local deals say it doesn't! i wanted to buy the 04 carb to put on my 01 400ex! hope this helps you a little

just bore out your carb like hes doing dont buy a 04 carb, if anyhting bore it or get a edelbrock or fcr

I believe a few guys have stated that the carb is the same as years before, it was just a misprint. Somebody needs to test this out though to make sure.
