well went riding today and it started knocking really bad so i was going back to the parking lot and it sezed up on me. so i guess i am going to do the 416, please tell me everything i should due and keep it under like $500 and I DON'T wanna run race gas

call up C&D. they will be able to hook you up with what you want. you will be able to get a piston, cam, gaskets, and boring for under $400 if you install it yourself. its not a hard task if you have a service manual. a second person would be beneficial too for extra help.

well just took it apart today and the piston and sleve are just soured (scratched) and uh we make part numbers and found out it already had a 416 piston in it, so can you bore it just a little more and put anuther 416 piston or am i going to hlf to get a 426 piston??
