i have a 98 recon and tonite we got it cranked and it was making a real loud slapping noise....well i went up the road to take the neighbor his jumpercables back..and my brother tells me that the bike cut of and something hit him in the leg....well we take the light and look the motor has the hole in it about the size of a tennis ball....the rod had broke and went thru the case...the motor is bout trashed...cept for the clutches and that stuff...does ne 1 have a recon/250ex motor they want to get rid of...
