Well I finaly got my 42 and 45 piolet jets in, and decided to remove my choke. So I did that, pluged that little hole that you are suposed to plug, and put the 45 piolet jet in. I thought it would be better to put that one in the winter, cause it gets pretty cold here. So I turned it out 2 1/2 turns, rode it for about 2 minutes, and it barley idled. So I went out to 3 turns, and it was even worse. So I decided to try 2, and it was pretty good, that is until I went for a long ride. Once it had warmed up, it won't idle but for 30sec's. max. It starts to sputter, and than it will just die. Would I be better off with the 42, and going out about 2 1/1 3 turns out on that? Or do I just need to go in to 1 1/5 turns on the 45? My mods are in my signature. Any help would be great!

Thanks -Nick

You could try it at 1.5 or so turns but I think you are going to be better off putting in the 42 pilot jet. Then get it nice and hot and adjust it to the place it idles the best. That is where you want it. However with the choke being gone I might try it about 1/2 to 1 turn out from the best idle so that it will start better. You might have to play with it a little to get the best happy medium.
