250 to 400 shock conversion?

Does anyone think its possible to put 250ex shocks on a 400ex to lower it. I have heard of people putting 300ex shocks on their fourwheeler but never 250. Would this work?

300ex shocks lower the 400 alot..I would think that since the 250 shocks are a tad shorter than the 300's that the balljoints would be binding on the a arms and possibly tire rubbing the fenders.

w/ a rider, the 300 shocks will but a 400ex about an inch off the ground (literally) so really i dont think you would need to go any lower
