I was wondering if anyone had a good trick to cleanig their header. You know that hard mud that cakes on there. Thanks!

Brillo-pad?

If you scrub it with something abrasive, like a briio-pad, it will turn it that ugly color of brownishsblue. At least mine did when I used a scotch brite pad on it. But other than scubing it, your hosed. Maybe try just soaking it with a cleaner and let it sit before hitting it with the pressure washer. I suggest getting it ceramicoated. then the mud will just slied right off when you wash it.

Spray engine cleaner on it, let sit for about 5-10 minutes, then hose it off works like a charm on mine.

when mud gets on there it gets to that nasty brown color...what I do is take off the exhaust header cover/protector thing & go at it with a copper brush & some engine degreaser...makes it look like new ;)
