AMA questions...

How many people on here are members? I am planning on joining at a up coming race and I am wondering about the ages and classes... If i am 14 can still run in a begginer class if i am under 16? and also whats the difference in ATV Amateur and ATV Amateur Unlimited??... Thanks in advance

im not a member but i know you must be 15 or older too ride a 400. thats about all i know about them!

if your 14 then you can't run your 400ex. You can only run Mini's or a 300cc four stroke or a 200cc two stroke....

i can race a regular race and not sign up and ride my 400 cant i?

you can not race your 400x in an AMA event until you are 16. BUT you can race NON-SANCTIONED events on it.

you could try that but i dont reccomend it..lol

Sometimes when you sign up for ATVA they will ask for a birth cirtificate. And when you turn 16 if they look at your entry sheets it will look kind of wierd seeing your birthday jump back 2 years.

If you get cought you can get suspended from the AMA for a minimum of a year....its your choice.....you can try it if you want;)

what about for one race could i be able to fake that and be ok? i mean not msogn up and be ok?

i believe you have to be an AMA member to race in an AMA event
