anyone know a trick for holding the inner hub while you break the bolt loose on the clutch without buying the tool?

put the trans in gear and have somebody hold the rear brake down.

well, this might not be the smartest thing to do, but i used a 10mm socket and stuck it in between the grooves on the inner hub and the grooves in the basket. it held tight for me, and i got mine apart and back together that way without breakin anything. but, the size of socket may differ from brand to brand, but get one that fits in there tight.

to me the easiet way was to always leave all the fiber plates and steel plates in the basket and just put pressure on them with your hand and they will stick together and keep the basket from spinning and just an impact and the nut will come right off.
