Help For Ps2 Fast

ok i have the network adaptor and a cable modem with a router and its hooked up 2 the playstation when i use the start up disk it tells me there is no connection...........
anyone know whats wrong?

i had to go into my computer and change sumthin so i could add the third connection

Right before it tries to connect when it asks you if you want to enter it manually or let them do automatically, most cases you want to do it automatically. That's all I can help. Sorry
