when they tested the 450r i thought they did a good job. i don't remember them dissing it all. but some people would rather have the electric start than the forward kick start. i would rather have the kick start because you don't have a battery and it also some wait and you don't have to mess around with a lot of wires.

Yeah, I like the atv sport review better than the dirt wheels. It was more informative.

I think ATV Sport is pretty good too. I like dirt wheels for one reason, readers rides. It is cool to see what everyone out there has, and enjoys.

The only people saying it does are the people that are paid to ride it...no REAL people have swung a leg or this piece of vapor-ware! :blah:

I think the single quad reviews are ok but I'm waiting on the head to head trx vs. vfz

even in the head to head shootout ,,,, the atv mags are biast, u cant beleive them til u do the test urself.. meaning u gettin on a r and ur friend gettin on his yfz,, and u finding out for urself,... u cant beleive the mags.

ATV sport still has to do a review on it and I take there word more serious than the other mags.

My favorite example is the cannibal 440 and suzuki 400 shootout in 4 wheel atv action. In their own words the dale had more power, better handling, better shocks, lighter, and more fun to ride, yet the suzuki won. I don't have anything against either one. I just don't take any of them seriously anymore. I ended my 3 subscriptions and putting the money into my wheeler.

They best way to test a quad is to go out and ride it. It's your opinion that matters.

Only if the Predator is not involved in the shootout. ATV Sport and ATV Magazine are both based in Minnesota that is why they are so high on the Predator and Sportsman 700.

Every magazine has bias. Just like everyone on these message boards.

Just buy the quad that has the features you want and will fill your needs the best.

And regarding that Z-Cannondale shootout. That was an all-around shootout not an MX only shootout. If it was based on just the MX results then the Cannibal wins. But there are other factors involved like trail riding, price, comfort and ease of riding.

I see your point but for what I ride in, the dale looked much better. And I have never hit an MX track. It always comes down to what you need and what you are willing to pay for it. When it comes to the magazines I use them for some info, and for the advertisements but don't take everything they say as fact.
