you tell him Skemp;)

has anyone else put carpenter screws in their tires to act as studs? I plan on doing that with my Banshee tires for the ice drags on Jan. 24 and I was wondering if that would work...

It is a softer tire, but they will work. The screws just won't hold as well as a harder compound tire.

so if i do it then they will most likely work tehmselves out of the tire ??????

I dont know about other holeshots but the ones I have have 2 layers, one soft compound on the top and then there is about a 1/4th-7-16ths of hard compound(the compound of the rest of the tire). So usually, yes I think they'd work fine.-darren
