i think they recommend .005 and .006 for both stage 1 and stage 2. i find my valves to be quieter when i put them at a tight .005 and .006.

did you follow the instructions with the hotcam on how to set the valve lash, or do you just find top dead center and adjust the valves like they recommend for the stock cam?

you adjust the valves the exact same was as with the stock cam but at different settings.

are you guys running big bores with your hot cam
i have read that they dont recomend hot cams be run with big bores -but i dont no why -do any of you no why-
or is it that they just dont recomend them for that application
buddy has one in a 440 he just bought -he wants to remove it because of what he read -thanks for the info

i believe what your referring to is that with the big bores you can benefit from a more aggressive cam. a stage 2 will be fine in a 440 if need be.
