a drill....all you have to do is drill out the center of the rivets.

But have a sticker ready because you're gonna have a square shaped dent in your plastic.:D

I saw on here that someone replace the warning plates with black abs plastic. It looked great. I think that it is next on my list.

Anyone know where to get sheets of black abs plastic?

I think when you peel the labels off, its hard to get them straight enough to flip them over and mount them the other way. I measured the cutouts on my 400, and then created solids of them on CAD software at work, then sent them to our model shop. They are made of 2mm thick stainless steel, I had to sand and polish them alot but they look pretty sweet.

Here's what I did, it sounds primitive, but it looks great. I went to Home Depot, and bought a concrete mixing tub for $5.88 (black ABS plastic one). I came home drilled out the rivets, took the plates off, traced around them with a sharpie marker, cut the outline with a jigsaw, them sanded them down to size, then mounted them with stainless steel hardware. They look great.

I think you can order small sheets of ABS plastic from most stereo shops. I know thats where I got some here before. Its cheap too. I am thinking about using some left over Red Carbon Fiber pieces that didnt fit in my truck and cut them to fit the warning labels. That should look real nice!!

hey guys they make a plastic that comes in all colors i use to use it when i raced dirt track cars speedway motors sells it but you have a buy a roll of it. if you know anyone that races dirt track cars or use to go check them out im sure they will have some laying around. just a thought! also its about 3/16 thick so it will fill up the holes really good.
