maier plastic trouble on 250r

ok I got maier plastic for my 250r first of all I had to red the holes for the seat because it wouldnt fit on the rear. I have an aftermarket seat latch, I guess that is why it had trouble fitting. Second the kick start doesnt go in the hole to good. Has any one else had trouble out of this plastic

Yeah, I had so many problems I decided not to run it.. mounted it up and took it off. Still trying to get rid of it, and also sell a quadtech hood unless it fits on the Fullbores that will be here tomorrow:o

same here man ... i got mine and cut out where the kickstart goes and had to get an aftermarket seat latch

had to trim my stuff...no big deal really....and as for putting an aftermarket seat latch on it...i wold recomend doing that anyway, weather its fullbore/maier/ or stock

where the kicker rests on the maier plastic, it seems to be made too far out, and if your lock spring/ball arent in the best of shape (inside kicker) the kicker may not stay locked clocsed and might flop around.

a set of maier came on my r when i bought it, i replaced them with oem and couldnt be more happy. much beter fit.

if you cant afford oem maier is the best bet to go (money wise)
