my 400ex's starter button is messed up reallllly bad! u cannot whatsoever push the button with your finger i have too get channel locks and squeeze too get the thing too start!! i have a race this weekend i reallly dont want too take these channel locks and im afraid i will stall it on the track! what could be wrong with the button!!!!!???? i know i need a new one but i need a solution by saturday! :mad:

Have u taken it apart and made sure nothing is jammed in it or broken?

yeah, i didnt see any reason it should be sticking

rig up a momentary switch its only 2 wires. its what i got for my starter on my 300ex

how do i do this

When i flipped my 250ex the statr button popped off and the white stick was showing hat pushes in so i pushed it and it started so it might be the black casing around it thats sticking so take it off and push the white stick.

take your starter button out there are only 2 wires that go to it, just wire up a normal switch dirt bike kill swtiches work nicely but you need to isulate underneet them with tape or something
