400ex plastic on 300ex

i know its possiable but how hard is it, i want to get 400ex plastic so i can but a quad tech front hood on

Couldn't you just modify the hood rather than put all new front plastic? I have no idea what's invlved with either option, it's just what popped into my head when I read your question.
