HMF pipes sound real good. I like my Sparks X4 also and I've heard good things about the DMC Alien. It depends on your budget and taste. The only downfall to the HMF is that you have to use the rusty stock headpipe.

Don't bother with FMF. You'll actually lose power.

I had a Megamax II on our 300 and I pretty much hated it. I really don't like the plates, especially exposed ones. As for the Curtis Sparks, all of the pipes from him, that I've heard, are deep and ear rattling! :D I'm really concerned with sound and I just ordered an HMF with a quiet core. Should be here next week. PM me if you want to know what it sounds like.... IMHO that is. :)

Nope the spark arrestor is $35 extra...still not a bad price for a great performing muffler. HMF's also have a 2 year warranty and the packing is good for 10 years.

I'm not sure if the SA comes with the pipe or not, but the $35 gets you the quiet core too. Yesterday, my son was asking if UPS ran on Sunday or not. :) He can't wait to get it.
