Anyone know if there have ever been any plans to expand the Maumee State Forest riding area in NW Ohio??? Its only about 5 miles of legal trails and I was curious who you would talk to about getting something started?

I've been riding there for over 15 years and it hasn't changed much. Too many houses around to make it much bigger I guess.

There's an email address at the bottom of the Maumee State Forest Homepage (http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/forestry/Forests/stateforests/maumee.htm) that you may want to try.

I'm sure you've probably heard of Radar's? Ever been there?

Yeah, actually one of my friends is good friends with radar. I haven't rode there yet but I was out talking to him and bought a few parts of him.

The trails are not at Maumee Bay State Park though, they are at the Maumee State Forest near Swanton and Oak Openings. They are pretty cool, Not alot of trails but its nice in the late summer because its finally dry back there and its a few degrees cooler than riding out in the sand pit area i normally go to. They are pretty much a lake right now because of all the rain.
