i use them...and i love them.

jeff from the quadshop even taught me to use a few tear offs over the roll offs at the start of muddy races as the tear off covers more of the goggle and will help when the roosting gets bad leaving the line:devil:

so u just stick the tear offs over the roll offs?

yup. i use like 4 over the roll offs. i normally pull more then 1 off:p but it does keep the goggle clearer until the pack evens out and then the roll offs are ready for action.

I preffer tear offs.Oakley makes laminated tear offs(for Oakley goggles)You can literally put 14 tear offs on your goggles and it is relativly clear.I have never used roll offs,I just don't think I would like looking out of a 1 1/2 -2 inch strip.

i use roll-offs too, started gncc season with tear-offs but went through 2 sets of goggles and still rode two laps with no goggles in florida so i went back to roll-offs after that. the tear-offs over top of roll-offs does work best for muddy races.

I used oakley tear offs but i always pulled like the whole thing right off after the holeshot so i put duct tape tabs on the ends one pointing up and one down and one strait out adn that helped a little but sometimes the tape stuck together so I pulled all of it off. And water got in between and you can't see anything. I got some roll offs I hope they work better. What tear offs could i use to put on smith warp goggles for the holeshot?

Only thing I don't like about roll-offs is the canisters block some of your vision. But better than no goggles.

i'm not sure about smith, the ones i used were made by scott for roll-offs they were called " holeshot tear-offs" i think i bought them a gncc. they worked good, if i remember right you slid one side under the canister then for the other side it came with a tab that you glued to the canister, i think i had three tear-offs on there so by the time you got into the woods you could start using the roll-offs.

I use the Smith system for roll off's. I love them. I have 3 pairs of goggles, 2 smith warp stars and one oakley, I'm going to be putting the roll off's on my other pair of smiths soon. I don't know how I ever lived without them.

I run the Smith Warp with Roll offs too, and I do like them. THey are kinda a pain in the arse to get loaded into the goggles. for me anyway..lol But they do work great.

Yeah, I run Smith Warp Stars, and they're alot better than the Scotts vision system, in my opinion. I don't ride without mine on a muddy day.

I've got some Smith roll-offs and basically, hate them. I always get water between the film and the lense and then of course, I can't see. :grr: My friend loves his. I've never tried tear offs.

ROLL OFFS ARE THE BEST INVENTION SINCE SLICED BREAD MY MAN!

try the smith extreme lens. they have small bumps on them to prevent the film from sticking to the lens. they work great. the first turn tear-offs also work.

I tried the Smiths and loved them until I pulled the string completely out of 2 pairs and now my poor self uses tearoffs.

i tried roll offs and did the same thing. pulled the string out. i think im gonna try tear offs and lots of goggle changes. might lose a little time in the pit changing goggles but you more than make up for it by being able to see.

if u learn how to use a tear away right u won't pull 2 + at a time...

load them so u put the part u grab in ur hand off to the right... then fold it in and put one off to the left... fold that on in put one off ot the right... fold that in... put one off to the left... etc

u'll never pull 2!!!

i can't stand tear aways they buzz constantly by ur head bc of the wind and it drives u crazy... they always get water between them also which makes u have beer goggles on!!!

i'm ordering a set of roll off warps here next week i think:macho i love roll aways...
