NO.........I didn't get to ride it :macho....but I did get to kick start it and rev it up!! :) It kicks over easy enough.......and it sounds really good even with just the end cap taken off!!!

A group had it at the dunes testing it for a mag.....they brought it over so we could take a look at it!! :) It was pretty sweet!!! :D

So it was pretty easy to kick over? did ya firre it up the first time or did ya have to get the hang of it?
I keep hearing that it kicks over easy. I sure hope it is true.

It was pretty easy - it's a forward kick, so it was a little wierd for me (I'm used to the backwards kick of the Shee) - but it started my first real kick. And you don't have to have the kicker at the top of the arc to start it.....more like midway down, then kick. I had tennies on, too - would be even easier with boots.....

No....Banshee is staying I think. I like it too much - I will find a way to have both! :) I will need a good dune/backup quad! :)

Because from July through September it is usually around 116 degrees every day - sometimes it will get up to 118 - and it sucks to ride because even if you get up at 4:30 am and hit the track early, it's still already 90 degrees by 6am!! :) We ride anyway, we just get sick alot if we get too hot!! :)

Corry, tell us about the ergononics compared to your old 400? Did it feel narrower like other people have said? How hard did the seat feel? ect...

well lets say if you don't go riding on the track you just go riding around. is still hot then

your real lucky becuase it is like only 20 degrees. and i try every thing just to keep myself warm. but the only parts of my body that get cold are my feet, face, and hands. it sucks so bad out here. i would rather be just out there wearing t-shirt. than have tons of cloths on

Mmmmm....it actually felt ALOT like my 400 when it was stock - maybe actually a little wider/lower.....but footpeg to handlebar to seat ergo's were all really comfortable!! The grips are cool - nice and grippy! The seat is hard, but I'm used the Banshee seat, so anything is hard compared to that thing!!! Seat seems easy to move around on and get your butt up off of....which is how I like it. The rear fenders are nice - not too big - not too much plastic (same with the front, actually)...the footpegs are wider than the 400ex ones, too - I liked the pegs. Lights are nice and bright - great for not having a battery or anything!

That's about all i remember from just sitting on it for a few minutes......felt like a Honda! :)

What I meant by narrower was the seat/tank area, not the width of the quad, sorry. How did that feel? Speaking of the headlights, was the brightness consistant? I know some people had said they might vary in brightness with the revs because it doesn't have a battery?

I thought the tank area did feel a tad narrower right where your knees are - the plastic seemed nice and seamless right there, too- doesn't seem like it will catch your boots or anything. But then I have read where some people thing the tank area is actually too big....I didn't think so. I thought it felt nice and thin.....

And the lights are AWESOME!!!! No change AT ALL in brightness with RPMS......or brake application....my Banshee lights waver all the time.....this thing must have a nice beefy stator! :)

I just saw it in D.C. at the motorcycle show, and it was impressive in person to say the least. They had a pretty cool video for it too. Can't wait to ride one and compare it to my other r.
