Hey guys, I am new to the site and have read alot of your posts but never posted myself. I am thinking about picking up a 250 r in the next week but since they are starting to get phased out do you think the aftermarket companies will stop making parts for them? I know they have been around for a while but I just want to make sure I can find parts for it in a year or two.

Thanks:D

Go for it Bro, there is no better quad out there and since they are being phased out of the Pro ranks there are a ton of parts available at good prices....

Right now is the best time to buy A 250R. They are really cheap and tons of aftermarket stuff. Everybody that has to have the latest thing is selling out. But in reality the R will always be a great platform. Say you are racing mx on one of the new 4 strokes and blow a motor. You are looking at an easy 600-700 to rebuild. A R with the same issues 100$. I have looked into trading my R for a 4 stroke but for trail riding only. And even at that I wouldnt get rid of it but I have a 19 month old that loves to ride so I need something to crawl around the trails. Like they said above, There will always be R parts around!
