buy used works shocks and then send them to quad shop or Derisi to get them rebuilt or buy brand new ones? Which would be cheaper and offer the best setup... Thanks a lot

i think the kit costs around $180 for both shocks...this kit allows more fluid to pass through the shocks or something techinical....anyways, his website is derisir acing (www.dericiracing.com) ...check that out..im having him do this pro millenium kit for my front works...(which are almist brand new still) & my stock rear shock ;)

me personally i would buy used and send them off to be revalved. the reason being is because derisi will set them up with a bit more of a personal touch. if you buy new they set them up to be around what you should have, then you dial them in normally. Derisi I know will get you right on the money or very very close to it. to me that alone is worth the money.

Also depending on the deal you get you can save a decent amount of money. :)

how much with rezzies? and what are the puprpose do you really need then?

resoviours are good for mx or other racing because they dont fade as easy. Ur not gonna be able to buy new you need to find some old works.

Expect to spend about $500-600 on getting fronts done by Santo. This is considering you start with basic Works without rezzies. That adds a lot to the equation. He does excellent work though. I am happy.

Santo, what do you all do to the shocks when you revalve them and what-not? I would call you but I'm not up for the extreme long distance charges on my phone bill, the mom kinda freaks out...

How much will it cost also? I have about $195 I can spend on hand right now.

Santo Changes the piston out to a more efficient piston, that in turn allows him to be much more precise in his valving. The Pro Millenium kit is WELL worth the money. Going from stock to Works is a big difference, Going From Standard Works to Pro Millenium modified Works, is an even bigger difference.

How much would it cost, rough estimate, to get the Pro Millenium kit for front shocks and the rear shock? Also how fast does he do it and how long does it take to get back to you? I suppose two weeks deadline is out of the question:p
