hey i am going to start racing next season and was wondering what exersies you guys do to get in shape and keep in shape for the races. thanks

lots of upper body work outs like push ups and bench pressing... dont foget sit ups n crap,... also make sure you stretch alot.. i see alot of people just working out and not stretching, and basically what that does is build muscle but then you cant use that muscle... make sure you work out your legs too like squats ... and really you have to eat right to take advantage of working out so dont forget to go on a goood diet plan

I lift weights every other day
I stretch twice a day
eat nutritional food
run every once in a while

I think thats about it

you'd be surpised what a hour or two a day will do over the course of a year.

Sucks being sore all the time but at other times you'll feel awsome. For instance right after you lift and overall I think it just puts you in a better mood and gives you more confidence.

Since I started doing all that stuff I have gotten so much faster and I'm still not where I wanna be yet. I wanna lose about 5 more lbs of fat, gain a decent amt of muscle and finally be a lot more flexible.

I have enough trouble jogging for 10 minutes, more less busting out a bunch of wind sprints afterwards...lol
