I'm going to be getting my frame powdercoated and i was wondering if the steering stem bearing had to come out, or my dad thought it would be fine if i just took the seals out, the same thing on my swingarm, do those bearings have to come out or not? Also im getting my stock a-arms painted b/c of the balls joints, what kinda prep should i do for those??? thanx for any help...

Take the bearing out and get a new one.

Make sure you take all the old paint off the a-arms, prime then paint.

ditto

to take the bearing out you need to remove the c-clip thats in the top and knock the bearing up out of the frame

the heat from the pc oven can toast your bearings

ya they basically sumed it up,the oven will make the grease come out of the bearing most likely and then you would have to buy a new one neway....so....evyer gotta go
