Hey guys I live in CT and do not have any place to legally ride around me. There tons of woods and trails which have been around forever but the cops and dep are crazy around here now. We try and stay off the roads as much as possible and don't give any trouble. I got caught a few months ago but I was riding on the road at the time trying to get to some trails so I took what was coming to me and got a ticket. That just gave me more reason to stay off the road. But, again the other day, miles out in the woods there is a guy who comes running up to us yelling when we were sitting on our quads about all the damage and how the cops are on their way to bust us etc. He said the twon owned the land now and blah blah. We knew we weren't supposed to be on the land, but we weren't trying to disrupt anyone. Needless to say we hauled *** back home to avoid the cops. Now it's not even fun riding around here because of the great risk.

So, after a long story, is there anywhere near CT that I can ride legally. I know that CT blows for riding do it would probably have to be in MA or NY. I found some place in Modena, NY called Lembo Lake or something but it 1 1/2 hour away and costs $30/day to ride. I thought you could register your quad in MA and ride but haven't been able to find much info about it. If anyone has any suggestions that'd be great.

I'm from Oxford which is kinda between Waterbury and Danbury. I'm pretty far south of you I think. A friend of mine has been up to Rocky Hill a few times on his old dirtbike. The thing is that there are tons of trails by us but we get hassled everytime we start up our quads around here. It takes the fun out of it when you're always running from the cops. I was looking into traveling to MA or NY to ride every now and then. I mostly do trail riding since that's what's available by me. It looks like you have some cool places up by you though.
