open end cap with a white brothers on a 416ex?

I just got a new 416 kit with a high compression piston, and i have a white brother e series i was running 12 disc when i had the stock motor and it ran fine,but when i got it back it didnt run right and i took all the disc out and ran open end and it runs perfect with alot of power, is it bad to be running it with the end cap open and no disc.

Like will it hurt it like blow it up or anything j/w?:) :) :)

Check your plug. If it looks good your OK I run a e-series with a turn down tip and it works great. Without the disk you lose back pressure and low end power. You do gain on top end power. You can buy the turn down if you want to run a straight pipe.

I know a few guys that run open end cap on theres, it runs fine. It helps the 416, 426, 440, etc breathe a bit better.

Yea i figured it made it breathe easrier cause it ran better.Well thanks guys, Where diid you get that turn down end cap and how much did it cost?

You should be fine without, but check your plug to make sure. My system didn't have the end cap. Also, I have seen the turn-down cap in a shop for the e-series list for $80. Yikes!

yea i have been running with the open end cap for a few days and it has been running fine tomorrow i am going to check the plug to make sure. yea i might look into a turn down end cap idk yet though.

you can get the turn down end cap from dennis kirk, and its WAY cheaper that $80:eek2: Also try C&D racing, I am sure they will carry them;)

mine ran fine with the discs or the turndown. the turndown is actually a little quieter though since the exhaust is facing the ground more. i gained a little rev up top.

Uhh, take all the discs out of your exhaust, that will quiet it, but leave the plate it.

Through the end plate away, well my dad did since it was in my stock airbox that dad tossed. :(
