Are you talking about rethreading your spark plug hole? You need a metric tap from an auto parts store.

Your going to have to remove the head so you won't get shavings down the hole. I would run a tap through the threads to clean them up and see if there is still enough thread to hold a spark plug. If not, you can either purchase a Helicoil thread repair kit or take it to an auto shop and have them do the thread repair for you. If you buy the kit, you will need to purchase the correct drill bit for it also. Metric thread repair kits are in the $70 range so you might be better off having someone do it for you.

Your going to need to Helicoil it. Have a machine shop do it if you don't have the tools, it will be much cheaper that way.

dude you are getting ripped on the helie coil kits.at my local napa they are 35.00 with the drill bit and before you say it they are great quality.not junk.

if the threads are not to bad you could get a sparkplug thread chaser and run in it but i would remove the head first.

You are mistaken, I did purchase the kit from a Napa store. Was quoted a similar price for helicoil kits from my local Carquest also. Standard thread kits are around 35.00 but not metric.

Sounds like you received a pricing glitch in your favor:D mine didn't even come with a drill bit. I too also get a discount at Napa.
