My friend and I are tightening the chains on our 400ex, we got his done without a problem but my adjuster wont spin for anything. We've bent 2 allen wrenches and broke 2 others and a screwdriver. The slot is started to get rounded out so we stopped messing with it. What is it going to take to get this thing moving?

did you first loosen the 2 bolts that keep the bearing carrier from moving?

I had to use two pry bars at the same time in defferent slots. Once it broke, it was easy! :)

Well this is hard to believe but..it happend to me! I Put a new swing-arm skid plate on a guys 400ex i couldn't get the carrier to move for nothing! Welp turns out that the bolts they sent for the swing-arm were to long but just long enough to screw into the carrier. I Losend the bolts on the skid plate it turned really easy then. I know that's what it was beacuse i took the carrier out and looked.

Insteads of loostenin the bolts up everytime y not just put a washer or 2 in there so you dont have that problem, once you sure that works lock-tite the bolts and be done with it... just a suggestion...
