z400 plastics on a ex???

i want my 400 to look different. i'm tired of the same old look but i like the way my quad runs so i want to put white z plastics on it

you want your EX to look different so your gonna make it look like a z400? why don't you get some laker custom plastic. the only quad i've ever seen with it is the exriders.com project quad. your quad would be different then and not look like a gay Z 400

i realy could care less what you think.
i like the way the z400's look and it will look different cuz it is a 400ex with them plastics it will not look like a 400ex thats what i want.
i dont care what anyone thinks it would look like so dont reply with your opinion i think it would look good and i'll be the one that has to look at it so do tell me what you think.
the laker custom plastics still look like a honda.

toda but don't you care what people will think when they see you out at the trails, or the races or whereever it is you ride? don't take this the wrong way but if i saw a guy with z400 plastic on his EX (it would look just like an air cooled z400 by the way which it neither special not cool looking) i would probably laff my ase off and think that guy was a homo. but hey i'm sorry, your right it is your quad and if its ugly your the one who has to deal with it. my opnion is to not do it tho, especially since it will probably involve a lot of work to get it on there!

Yeah you could rig it up but it will look like it wasn't made for it....becuase it wasn't. The gas tanks are different sizes and the sub frames it will never match up good. It will look rigged up and not very good in my opinion. Good luck.

Yeah, Z's are gay and so are peeps that ride em, why would you want your EX to look like a Z? :D

Really though, I think it would take a lot of modifications to make it work.

I would agree with posts telling you it would be a huge amount of fabbing up things, brackets, tank fit and such. I have done alot of riggin' things in my day so I would say get one of those really cool looking full bore kits and some wild graphics to make it look like your own style. In the long run you will be happier.

i think i decided to go with them clear plastics. i didnt know who made them but i seen that the laker custom makes them i though they just made the black ones but clear look pretty good so i think thats what i will do

i think you can do this i seen it in a mag once i forgot which one,i got so many where they were doin a budget XC quad the put a z400 hood on a 400ex.THey didnt do the plastic tho just the hood.
