seems like every 400ex that I have seen looks like the left side of the subframe is bent down causing the rear plastic to sit sideways.........anybody else notice that?

Honda picked a fine place for a 10 pound battery

Is there any way that a tweaked subframe (from the battery) be straightened up?

Bend it back and re-mount the battery in a aluminum airbox.

How would you bend it back though? Just heat it and bend it?
i bent my grab bar 45 degrees up...wouldnt mind finding another stock subframe or a used aftermarket one

try christian paul motorsports in n.y., he can sell you stock 400ex subframes or he can cut the rear and weld in nuts to use an aftermarket grab bar, and can even powdercoat it for you. my brother just got his and they did a real good job with it. their phone # is 518-661-6321 ask for rick.

I just sent mine to the Quadshop. It's going to be fully gusseted. They will chop the old grab bar off, and put on 250r grab bar mounts!
how much doies this cost from the quadshop for what you are getting down..i wouldn't mind having this setup

not positive but i think its 150 for the sub frame to be gussetted and set up for a 250r grab bar and powdercoated
