i was just looking through there website and i found a 385 big bore kit for the 300ex,i was wondering if anybody has this kit or has any expirence with these people and are they realiable and good to their word.Or does anyone even have some of there other kits for the 300.like i said are they reliable?thankz

330 big bore is good for 300eX

Yes they are very reputable and you will find nothing but good news on here about them. based on what type of riding you do and what gas you want to run they have all types of set ups, talk to Scott he will help you out.

Unless your racing I don't think it would be a good idea to run 385cc bore kit. That kit uses a 12.5:1 piston 12mm larger than stock. Even with an oil cooler that thing would probably run really hot. You would want to run a carillo rod also with all that compression. I would just get his 330 pump gas kit and a hotcam. Then you don't have to run straight race fuel.

i had scott at profab do the machine work on my 250x to 300 bore .very good people to deal with just email him or call he can answer any of your questions. He is going to be doing my 416 shortly.

iight im prob goin to do the 330 kit then for next winter,and how much faster would you say it would go 10mph faster and liek wat 15 ponies?

the speed would be around the same due to gearing being the same. Your going to feel more torque all around the power range. so you could go up one tooth on the fornt sprocket and mabey a couple on the rear then that would change your top end.I am running 14/36 now with no problem. The big bore kit will let the quad get up to speed quicker but not go any faster do to gearing limitaions. make sense?

it goes faster my 330 kit i can keep on the back tire of a piped 400 with 14/36 gearin

yes it is faster because you changed the gears.which intern changes your gear ratio. The reason you can pull those gears is the extra torque the motor has now. IT is like changing rear end gears in a car. Put the gears back to stock and it wont be a race!
