HotCams 1 or 2 : For Dunes ?

I was wondering wads a better hot cams for dunes ? stage 1 or stage 2 ?

if your not worried about low end power the stage 2 would get my vote especially for WOT at the dunes.

I would say with a high compression piston and a stg 2 cam for the dunes :D

Sure, you will see some performance with the cam installed.

I think that the Stage 2 cam is the way to go for the dunes.

I would say a 416 or 440 kit with a stage 2 hot cam;)

you will see some gains with the cam but you will benefit more with a high compression piston and a cam.
If you are only going to do a cam then I would get the stg1 cam.

A stage 1 cam will give you more low-end power. You need this low end power if you are in tight terrain, where you need to be able to power out of a corner, and you rarely ever get to top speed because of the tight corners and terrain.

Dunes, obviously, are the exact opposite. Wide open spaces, extended WOT conditions. You want maximum power at high RPMs, that's what a stage 2 is designed for. You don't need low-end torque, because in the sand you can't get the traction anyways.

hey is the 426 kit good ? im probably goign to get the 426/kit with the stage 2 hot cams, once i get the money

I think it al depends on your motor if its stock go with a stage 1 if your going to put a HC piston and port it then go with the stage 2 and that set up with scream!!!
