Best Carb Mod for a 300ex?

Hey guys, i am looking into putting a new carb on my 300ex and i was just wondering if you guys could help me out and give me some ideas for a good carb. :)

I've heard good things about the stock 400 carb on the 300, I'm looking for one for mine myself!!

i agree. i have no experience with a 300ex, but i have been told people run the stock 400 carb on their 300's. i imagine you might loose a little low end power but gain some up top. i would also suggest this because you can probally pick up a used stock 400ex carb in the for sale section or post it in the wanted section. by the way, with it being used, the price will probally be good.

If you find any spare parts when doing your mod ie. 350 boot let me know so I canstart aquiring parts to do it.
