my left side case has a hole in it, if i start it oil shoots out. its right infront of the front sprocket, whats the best thing to do about it? some people told me to get JB weld, will that hold up good enough? if not how much is a new case? but the hole is like a perfect triangle that almost looks like a plug or something should go there. my cousin took it off bout a week ago to replace the gasket could he have put it back together at the time?

if you need to get a new case check ebay. I dont remember what the case used to look like on my 250x, but i dont think that they would put a plug on the side of the case.

JB weld will work just fine,make sure you clean the area and scuff it up a little.If the hole is to big than take the case off and find someone who can weld aluminium.
