Start Shaft Drive in gear?

I was wondering if there was a way to start a 250ex in gear? I used to have a Recon and I was wondering then too. Thanks!

Kinda sucks but on those you are pretty much stuck starting it in gear. You could permanantly ground the neutral wire then it would start anytime but the light would always be on unless you unpluged the light.
