Bleeding my brakes?

I broke my front left break line on my Blaster and ordered a replacement. I refilled the fluid reservoir and bolted up the new lines. I cannot get fluid to come out of the bleeder nut. I tried loosening the nut, squeezing the lever, then tightening the nut and releasing the lever for a while but it isnt working. Any other suggestions?

I'd get a glass jar and put enough fluid into it and stick the end of you brakeline submerged into the fluid in the jar, and keep pumping it while adding fluid, watch the jar while doing this until you see bubbles coming out of the end of the hose. I had the same prob with the front brakes on my banshee and this worked just fine.
