View Full Version : 250 3-wheeler clutch

My friends went out and wants help putting a new one in.....I've never changed a 3-wheeler clutch before but i am fairly mechanically inclined......All input is appreciated thanx everyone!

250 what, 250r, 250es. If its a 85/86 250r its easy to do, need to know what model, as some had autoclutches are those are alittle different

ack, sorry my bad! Its a 250x i believe. Its a 4 stroke!

then you're looking at either a 250sx, 200x or 350x. if it has 2 exhaust ports its a 350x, if its auto clutch its a 250sx.

well hell, as you can tell i know alot about 3-wheelers! lol It has a clutch, so maybe its a 200x or whatever! auto clutch is where you shift but dont have a clutch to use right? its not like that....its just like my 400 as far as shifting goes! and i know its not a 350x cause those are fairly fast and i smoke this bike like it stands still :eek2:

so its a 200x. now you have to figure out what year it is. if its a 5 speed w/the chain adjusters at the swingarm pivot, its 83-85. if its 6 speed w/chain adjusters at rear like a 400, then its 86-87.
