just got home from watching Farr and Hitt

Well, i just walked through the dorr from watching tim farr, shane hitt, and a few other A class riders doing some practicing at the new Indoor facility near andover,oh.
Well, that was my first time seeing a trx450r up close and personal and seeing it in action....not bad, im sooooo glad they put a normal hood on the front instead of those headlights:rolleyes: i dont like the looks of them but, the hood brings back some memories of the Real R. the quad seemed to have lots of power and kiddy up thats for sure...im thinking this coming season is going to be very interesting to say the least.
yes i did take some pics but of course i still use a normal camera ($1000's normal) so i will be dropping off the film to be sent out tomorrow so pics are just a few days away:D . thats all i just had to tell somebody

Yep Shane was there with his Sparks YFZ....compare huh Hmmm, well there was this one spot in the track where Shane could not hit the triple and Tim finally got it after several trial runs...Shane almost crashed the one time trying it....its a tuff jump, yea come into a 180 right into a double (seat bounce) then 10' right into a triple.....the 450R seemed to have a tad more Ummmf to get over it. and like i said earlier it looks much better w/o the headlights...i sent pics in so i should have them by tues im thinking

mxdave28, I have heard lots about the new indoor place off of Rt.7. Have you ridden there yet or just checked it out? I am hoping to go next weekend....I need a few small parts for my ride to be fixed, lol! Can you tell me anything else about the track?

that track is so sweet(for an indoor track anyway), but yeah tim and shane were tearin it up. it was funny like no one knew tim was there, and the next thing u know he pulls up to the line and evryone swarmed him. that had to suck. the quad just plain rocked. i am beginnin to be a believer. oh and not to mention that there were like 75% of the quads were the yfzs.

as for the track, its techinical reminds me of a supersross track. if u can ride the whole 10 mins without gettin really tired, then i bow down to u. full of doubles and tables and crap.

Nope havent ridden there....i no longer have a quad at this time. I went up with the Bartosek's that night. its a fairly tight course that seems to have some nice seat bounce double right out of 180 turns hehehe. its only 2 quads width wide though so thats kinda bad but, other then that its a real nice set up. I just hope that the place takes care of its troubles and takes off, would be nice to have a place to ride in the winter thats only 45 mins away.

I have never tried anything indoor or supercross like. I am sure that I am in for a rude awakening, lol! I just want to ride really bad right now though.

Heh, heh, yeah my deal with Nate is actually official this year. I am all stickered up and everything, lol! Nate has been a Godsend to me, we met pretty much by dumb luck last year and have been friends ever since. So I decided to approach him with an idea and he went for it. That guy knows more about quads than I could hope to forget, lol! He has been a great help on and off the track. I can't wait to get racing again with Nate's support.

TT tires, eh? Sounds like they were off his infamous R, lol!

i think i saw a video of this track with farr riding on it.... it was an indoor, really tight with a lot of double right out of the turns and a triple and a table...... im pretty sure it was the same one.....seemed like the new honda really did have good power to be coming out of those turns and hittin those jumps

the track is called NEMX and its awesome.... Its only about an hour away from me and actually i am goin up there this weekend. If any of you live close to that area i would definately go. For all of you that are too far away heres some pics of the track compliments of PITRACER.COM:D

by that one picture it looks like the honda 450 sits pretty low with some zps shocks on it.

when you were watching Tim ride that trx did it seem that it had lots of acceleration compared to the yfz 450?>?

well from what i seen, farr was pullin up hard on the back of some yfzs down the straight. now i dont know what all is done to farrs quad if anything, and whats done to the guys on the yfzs if anything or even their skill. but one of the people he rode up hard on was a buddy of mine, and this kid can fly, so i say that the trx will be very competitive with the yfz.

But i didn't bring the digital only the kodak disposable. haha Any after me and Ogrum left the indoor i got a ticket for spinning my tires and doing brodies. So i don't know how long it will be until i'll be alowed to go out there again. And if you got them post the picks of ryan jake and phil. thanks man

Hehehe well, i was going to finish off that roll that night but couldnt because my Batteries went dead!!! hahaha i was going to rack off the rest of the film with close ups and the peeps there. i dont have a Dit Cam..just my trusty ole 35mm which was a pretty penny to buy but well worth it so far....its time for me to upgrade it and get a different lens and a aftermarket flash unit.....TICKET!!! hahaha im gunna asmue that was from the andover POLLice? i cant remember now which one is which...116 is ryan correct? and #1 is his Bro Phil? when i get home later tonight i will get the other pics up for ya. Yeah Dave 116 is Ryan and 131 I believe is his brother Phil. Man, everytime they show up at Pymatuning they kick all our butts usually, lol! They are some fast guys and seem pretty laid back too. Keep the good stuff coming Dave!:)

Phil has #1 on his r right now. Miss angie moore found it pretty easy to hook him up with those #'s when he won 250B. So your right dave. Hey redroost, make sure to introduce yourself to us next time were out there. I'll be the stud with all the girls around him and probably his fly down. haha Its pretty nice to know each other at these local races. I mean everyone is out there to have a good time anyway. Are you gonna be racing locally this year? I don't remember seeing a #917 around here last year. Yeah, you were probably around....I was just too dang far behind, lol!:eek2: :D

I saw the site that Nick hooked up. Looks good. I am sure he has much more to add. Is Nick gonna be running something....anything this year? I know he has been trying to sell his ride and debating about getting something else.
