turf taimers ??????

I got some 20' turfs and from what i feel they slow me down. The reason i say this is because with my worn down stock tires a full systym pro cirucuit pipe, k&n, and not jetted still with stock jetting it ran 72-75 according to my brothers truck right next to me on black top. Now with the correct jetting 155 main, it only goes 70 on gps. Any thoughts on this? The tires are 20-11-9.

your gps and the truck my be different. my guess is that the truck is off by a little.... other then that, are you sure its jetted properally?

Unless you have gearing changes done both the gps and the truck are wrong. Because a 400ex is supposed to go about 65mph

just because they are 20" tires doesnt mean they are both exactly 20"...theres just a little difference in the heights thats all

bob are you sure you are talkin about a full systym piped 400 jetted and air filter? a 400 stock only goes 65 but modded like mine it should go around 70

:( the new turfftamers are heaver you probley noticed slite drop in excelleration.the answer is the tires are heaver takes more horse power to move that unsprung weight. just a thought:p :)

The truck and GPS will be different.
Also, those Tamers are wider and will cause more friction.

I'd say the GPS is right. Your buddy could say anthing. Plus the truck speedo is prob. off. GPS is very accurate!;) I think 70 is about right for these mods. Mine runs 79-81 on GPS depending on motor and outdoor temp and road surface.
